There was a real Jack
Jack's View is named for Giacomo "Jack" Millefolie — a Sicilian immigrant and a master
carpenter. He framed houses and he did the finish work, which is rare now; most carpenters
do one or the other. He built custom cabinets. He could build a house from the ground up,
and he did — before nail guns, when every nail was driven and set by hand.
He knew plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing — all the systems a home depends on. He was a jack of all trades who had mastered one first.
He and his wife, Nina, raised nine children, and his relentless work ethic was fueled by love and the desire to provide. Jack's View is built on the values he lived by: craftsmanship, integrity, and the belief that honest work shapes strong families and stronger communities.
